Things to do in Central AR for Spring Break

There are plenty of activities if you’re in Central Arkansas and looking for something to do! At Chris Crain Hyundai in Conway, AR, we’ve created four favorite Spring Break activities for you and your family. You’ll love our first outdoor adventure if you love the Natural State. First, let’s talk about some great parks you can visit. 

Parks 

Arkansas is the Natural State with many hiking trails and mountains to consider. Pinnacle Mountain is a popular destination where many like to take the hiking trail or climb the mountainside with their pet companion. If you are more of a bike rider, don’t worry; Arkansas has parks for that, too. You can comfortably ride your bike on the Arkansas River or the Quachita National Recreation Trail. If you don’t like hiking or bike riding, you can simply have a picnic with friends or family and spend time at one of these beautiful parks enjoying the beauty of Arkansas. 

Local Food 

As a natural state, plenty of restaurants, like the Root Cafe, should be tried. The Root Cafe is known for its ‘farm-to-table’ breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Little Rock. Mark's Do-Nut Shop is an excellent pick if you want a sweet bite in the morning. These donuts are delicious and have just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy that craving. There are plenty of food options in the Central Arkansas area. You can sit down and enjoy your meal or pack it up to go! 

There are also local breweries like Diamond Bear Brewing Company, which you can tour. 

Family Fun 

Spring Break means the kids are out of school, and you’re looking for activities to do. In Central Arkansas, there are many kid-friendly activities. At Burns Park, there are many playgrounds and trails to enjoy. Another family fun activity is going to Big Rock Mini Golf and Fun Park. At Big Rock, families can play mini-golf, go-kart, go to a batting cage, and more.

Museums

Arkansas is the home of past President Bill Clinton and the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum. You’ll discover educational and cultural exhibitions about the 42nd President of the United States at this museum. Another museum to visit is the Historic Arkansas Museum. The Historic Arkansas Museum has excellent exhibits, like the Native American Gallery, Knife Gallery, and more.
