The 2023 Hyundai Sonata vs the 2023 Kia K5

Safety is an important feature of any vehicle, and the Hyundai Sonata delivers in this department. The Sonata comes with standard forward-collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist. While the Kia K5 has similar features, some of them are optional, making the Sonata a great deal in even the standard, base trim.

Comfort

Moving on to cabin comfort, the Sonata is a clear winner with its spacious interior, comfortable seats with a variety of adjustments, and legroom both front and back. Furthermore, the Sonata’s sleek, modern design and high-quality materials give it a luxury feel, surpassing the K5 in terms of interior design.

While the 2023 Kia K5 is a good contender in the midsize sedan segment, the 2023 Hyundai Sonata takes the lead with its superior powertrain options, advanced technology features, better safety ratings, and spacious interior design.
