Exterior

The EV sedan model is meant to have a more futuristic and elegant look. Set apart from the IONIQ 5 crossover EV which has a boxy and bigger look. You’re going to love the glossy and stylish look of the all electric sedan.

Interior

As glamorous as it looks on the outside, it’s even more luxurious on the inside. The IONIQ 6 will have a 12.0-inch infotainment screen that will include BlueLink connectivity for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. With a spacious cabin, there’s an ambient light to give a brighter and attractive look. It will be a five-seater vehicle like all sedans with modern cargo space for your belongings.

Electric Life

This is one of the fully electric sedans to happen. Its range is expected to extend to 280 miles on WLTP standard. The IONIQ 6 will have a standard 53-kWh battery with a 77.4 kWh available as well. The 800 voltage charge will have the ability to charge from 10 to 80 percent in a matter of 18-20 minutes.

The IONIQ runs on a power outage with an electric motor 44.5kWh permanent magnet synchronous motor. Its transmission is a 6-speed DCT. With IONIQs, there will be an option on battery packs and whether rear or all wheel drive is your choice.

Why go Electric?

While gas prices continue to rise, many have already made the change to switch to an all electric vehicle. Going electric means saving money on gas because the IONIQ doesn’t require any. It only needs to be charged to take you wherever your next adventure awaits. With an electric vehicle, your commute will be more smooth and quieter than with a basic motor. You’ll definitely feel the quality of driving and riding in an IONIQ 6!

Release Date

The IONIQ 6 is predicted to start production in late 2022 and will release sometime in 2023. Hyundai hasn’t made an official release announcement yet. Be sure to follow us for the latest information on when you can expect the IONIQ 6 to be released.
